Led by maestro Manfred Honeck and featuring violinist Pinchas Zukerman and PSO principal clarinetist and AMFS artist-faculty member Michael Rusinek, the three-concert series will complement Aspen's robust musical programming and extend its unmatched listening experience for lovers of classical music.

The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra residency in Aspen is generously underwritten by Sanford and Naava Grossman.

The programs all start at 6 p.m. in the Benedict Music Tent and will be as follows:

August 23: Honeck conducts Bruckner's Symphony No. 4, and Zukerman plays the Bruch Violin Concerto.

August 24: Honeck conducts Mahler's Symphony No. 5, and Rusinek plays Mozart's Clarinet Concerto.

August 25: Honeck conducts Strauss's "Elektra" Symphonic Rhapsody and Dvoƙák's "Rusalka" Suite, and Zukerman plays the Berg Violin Concerto.
