In Honor of Service

In Honor of Service creates additional access and engagements with military service personnel through single ticket discounts for BNY Mellon Grand Classics and PNC Pops Concerts at Heinz Hall, music and wellness sessions in the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System with Pittsburgh Symphony musicians, and an annual community concert in honor of our region’s active and retired military personnel.
In Honor of Service Concert

Discounted Ticket Information

Your military discount enables you to purchase up to four discounted tickets for BNY Mellon Grand Classics, PNC Pops, and Fiddlesticks Family Concerts.  You can access the In Honor of Service Program discount three ways:

- Call the Heinz Hall Box Office at 412.392.4900 and ask for the military discount.
- Visit the Heinz Hall Box Office at the corner of 6th Street and Penn Ave and present your military ID.
- Online at www.pittsburghsymphony.org by using the Promo Code PSOMilitary.  You must enter the code first before selecting seats.

All tickets purchased online or by phone must be picked up in person at the Heinz Hall Box Office; a valid military ID is required. 

Music and Wellness

The PSO works with the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System to provide therapeutic experiences for local veterans using live music. Pittsburgh Symphony musicians work closely with VA music therapists to deliver highly impactful experiences that address a variety of health challenges including dementia, suicide prevention, and palliative care.
